Today topic for day two of the ballet guide is clothing for ballet class. Some schools have more rules then others when it comes to class so some of thing on the list may or may not be appropriate. Here is a list of normally accepted ballet wear. As I said this may not apply to every one.
Appropriate.
- Leotard
- Tights
- Ballet Slipper and/or Pointe Shoe
- Socks
- Arm or Leg Warmers
- Shorts
- Skirt
- Leggings
- Sweater
- Bra or Double Bra
- Rehearsal Tutu (ask a teacher for sure)
Inappropriate.
- Jeans
- Baggy Pants
- Necklaces
- Bracelets
- Big Earrings
- Underwear
- Bare Feet
- Anything other than ballet shoes
- Nail Polish
- Ripped Clothing
- Rehearsal Tutu (ask a teacher for sure)
